My stay at Native Hostels Austin was quite enjoyable. the vibe of the place is really cool and the amenities are new. I appreciated being able to check in early and found the staff very helpful. However, the neighborhood felt a bit sketchy, especially with the ongoing construction nearby.

I stayed in a 6-beds women dorm room. it was big, clean, and the beds were super comfy. I really liked the privacy curtains over the beds as well.
Service

The staff was friendly and accommodating. they helped me find the iron and hairdryer when I requested them. This quick assistance made a positive difference during my stay.
Location

The location is fantastic, just around the corner from 6th St. but I did feel the neighborhood was a bit sketchy due to the construction area and nighttime vibes.

Breakfast was above average, which I appreciated. it offered a good start to my day.

While the facilities are new and clean, I did find the lack of privacy in the shared bathroom space a bit challenging. a privacy curtain would be a great addition, especially since the bathroom situation didn’t provide much separation.

5.8/10

I just spent four nights at Native Hostels Austin, and I found the experience to be superb overall. The location is quite convenient, though I did notice some traffic and construction around. My dormitory bed was the most comfortable one I've ever slept in – really impressive! Just a heads up, if your room is close to the bar, expect to hear music late into the night, but on the plus side, it’s nice having a bar on-site for convenience.

The bed in my 6-bed mixed dormitory was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the privacy curtains around the bunks. The design of the sleeping areas felt modern and clean, which surprised me for a hostel.
Service

While the staff were friendly, I found my check-in experience a bit lacking. The employee couldn't answer many of my questions, prompting me to seek out a manager the next day. Other than that, everyone was quite nice.
Location

The hostel is situated near 6th street, making it easy to explore the nightlife. However, the surrounding neighborhood felt a little sketchy with a lot of traffic and construction. I even heard about a guest's truck being broken into, which was concerning.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was adequate but not really good, featuring items like cereal, toast, yogurt, and some fruit. However, I loved that there were homemade biscuits and blueberry jam available, which were a good touch!
Facilities

The hostel's amenities were impressive, with a well-equipped kitchen and excellent communal areas. I particularly enjoyed the large refrigerator for storing food and plenty of utensils available for use.

I had a comfortable stay at Native Hostels Austin, but it wasn't without its hiccups. The atmosphere felt homey, and the main area was beautifully designed, which I appreciated. However, I did find some noise issues from neighboring rooms, and the breakfast options were quite limited.

I stayed in a bed in a 6-bed female dormitory room and found the beds to be really comfortable. The privacy curtains on the beds were a nice touch, helping to create a cozy space despite the noise from the bar area. However, the thin walls allowed me to hear too much from adjoining rooms, which disturbed my sleep.
Service
8.0
While the majority of the staff were friendly, my check-in experience was a bit off. The person who helped me seemed a bit confused and didn't provide clear answers to my questions. On a brighter note, the female bartender was welcoming and helpful, which made up for some of the check-in issues.
Location
8.3
The hostel is in a location that's somewhat sketchy, with a lot of traffic and construction around. While it's within walking distance to 6th Street, I felt a bit uneasy at night, especially since I heard about incidents like a guest's truck being broken into. I was cautious about my surroundings during my stay.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was very basic, offering mainly cereal, yogurt, and some fruit. I wished for more variety, such as bread and bagels, to start my day. However, having a bar/café attached was convenient for grabbing food later on.
Facilities
8.5
The common area was nicely furnished and provided a great space to work with plenty of outlets and good Wi-Fi. They also offer some nice toiletries in the showers, which I really appreciated. Overall, the facilities were clean and well-maintained.

My stay at Native Hostels Austin was quite enjoyable. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore many attractions, though I did feel a bit uncomfortable walking around at night due to nearby traffic and construction. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the hospitality was evident, but I found the breakfast options a bit limited and the noise levels from the bar a bit disruptive at times.

Rooms
8.3
I stayed in a mixed dormitory room that was comfortable and offered good privacy with curtains around each bed. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, but overall, the dorm was quiet and clean.
Service

The staff was always smiling and helpful, making my experience feel warm and welcoming. However, I did have to wait for more detailed answers from one staff member during my check-in.
Location
7.5
The hostel's location is great for accessing various attractions and nightlife, but I felt uneasy due to the sketchy neighborhood. I always kept an eye on my belongings.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast included cereal, toast, yogurt, and some fruit, but I wish there had been more variety, like some simple oats or whole-grain options. The bar connected to the hostel was a nice feature, though it got quite loud at times.
Facilities
7.5
The kitchen was well-equipped, and having a dishwasher was a plus. However, the lack of laundry facilities was inconvenient; the nearest one was far and costly to get to.

6.8/10

My stay at Native Hostels Austin was generally pleasant, featuring a stylish atmosphere and friendly staff. However, I found the breakfast offerings a bit monotonous and experienced some concerns with safety due to open access areas. Overall, it felt like a great option for budget travelers but had its drawbacks.

Rooms
7.5
I stayed in a Bed in a 6-Bed Mixed Dormitory Room, which was comfortable and pretty clean. The noise from the bar was minimal when I was inside my room, so I could sleep well enough. However, I did feel a bit concerned about safety with non-registered people hanging around at times.
Service
9.0
The staff members were always kind and accommodating, eager to help with any questions I had. They consistently contributed to the positive vibe throughout my stay.
Location
6.5
The hostel's surroundings felt somewhat lonely, particularly at night, which made me hesitant to explore on foot after dark. During the day, everything seemed fine, though.
Dining
6.5
While the breakfast included basic items that worked for a budget, I quickly grew tired of the same options (like yogurt daily). I appreciated that there was a nice kitchen to prepare additional meals if needed.
Facilities
7.0
The hostel's facilities felt modern and clean. However, I noticed a weird smell in the common area which was a bit off-putting, along with some drainage odors in the restroom.
